      Interesting conversion - Tiger with 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 (or 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71).
      Kummersdorf, spring 1945.

I've been tremendously enjoying all these amazing pictures! Thanks to everyone who has contributed.

This came in the mail today: a Christmas present you might say and a ferocious feline indeed!

Great photos! The Tiger with L/70 gun is new to me... Has it been published in a book (possibly in Kummersdorf book) ?

Here's a Panther in color. I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

No, it's private photo made in spring-summer 1945.

Yuri, this is something for M-L and TIIF, but I saw you posted it to M-L already

It looks like the turret is fixed on a ground-dug thing (like Pantherturm). And the gun is a bit strangely oriented but that must be the direction it is pointing to.

Great find, thank you for sharing.

                        Big Cats!

                        Greetings,
Just wondering if anyone has a nice "SturmTiger" photo to post? Don't see these very much. Thanks! Sincerely, DJB

Cute, compare him with this cat from Dr. Ferdinand Porsche.

Panthera-Tigris, very nice photo from Ebay and the other photos were also excellent. For your information, that photo was taken in November 1944 and the photos are from Leutnant Kaspar Göggerle 3/653. There is a series of photos of this vehicle (you will find these in Karl-Heinz Münch's book "Combat History of Schwere Panzerjäger Abteilung 653" pages 459-463).
