    Some neat paper items

I picked up some interesting paper items in trade this weekend and thought I'd share them with you.The first is a Division Newspaper. I love paper items linked to specific units. Can anyone ID the Division? I haven't had time to research it yet.

Thanks Edward. From looking at their history they didn't spend much time in Italy before moving to Czechoslovakia. Jim

          VERY NICE!

Does anyone have a copy of a newspaper called "Frontdienst"? This was the divisional newspaper for the 357. ID.

          Thank you.

            Hi Erich,

I checked my papers and nothing from the 357th.Sorry Jim

Heres another nice document. Basically a personal message from the commander of the 72d I.D. thanking his soldiers for their courage and loyalty during the Westwall, French, Greek and Russian campaigns.

                That's quiet intresting! Nice!
The first edition was printed probably in the 1944 summer! They had a hat badge with their symbol.
The Division was transferred to the Czech Republic on Februar 1945 and then surrendered to the Red Army in May.
