I don't like it. The tonal and contrast are all off and the back looks like it has been artificially aged. Looks like one of the fakes coming out of eastern Europe.

It's not an original one.. They took this image from his Death card that's why it has that contrast. I used to research the Flemish volunteers.

I don't like it. The tonal and contrast are all off .....

I don't like it either, for the same reasons you have mentioned. It has the kind of image quality degradation that you see in 2nd and 3rd generation copies. Could be wrong but I would give it a miss.

OP - have you bought this picture or offering it for sale ?

I have already given mine. I have bought from this seller before, he is a good guy and I was happy with the purchase. In this case however I would have given that picture a miss. Again - I could be wrong but that is my honest take on it.
