Stürmer cartoonist 'Fips' signed sketch.

Please comment on this original draft pencil sketch for DER GIFTPILZ (Poison Mushroom) book.

This originated from a Hitler Youth camp or hostel at lake Bodensee as a gift. They were framed before the Stürmer sent them out because there is an explanation as well as rubber stamp from the publishing house on the reverse side.

The drawing is an original draft by Philip Rupprecht,(pen name Fips), handsigned at the bottom left.

interesting piece .
Kind of a rough sketch, some of Fips work has a more smooth and polished look(maybe that is a side effect of getting inked)
While being iconic, I dont like the subject matter so much, both the antisemitic aspect but also as it is a bit of a rough drawing by the artist.
I find the subject matter of Fips when not focused on charicaturing Jews to be more interesting (except for his most over the top blood drippingly paranoid evil portrayals).
Not somthing you see every day.
