The KvK citation is signed by Felix Steiner.

PAB Silber possibly signed by Georg Schönberger (but I don't have an example of his signature to compare against.)

It was a Korp level unit assigned to III SS-Panzer Korps...

It is funny to see WSS soldier with so polish lastname ( Nowak is typical polish lastname and is most popular lastname like Neumann in german language countries or Newman in english language countries ) and more funny to see mistakes with spelling of this lastname ( Nowack - Novak ). I wouldn't suspect that someone with so not german and so polish lastname wouldn't had problems with recruting to WSS.
Guy must came somewhere from Silesia ( Slask ), West Prussia ( Pomorze Gdanskie ), Warteland ( Wielkopolska - Ziemia Lodzka ). Definately had polish roots at some point.

That is indeed the signature of Georg Schönberger, and alongside Dietrich, Steiner and Wisch, that is a really nice set of signatures in a very nice grouping.

With Ralf Tiemann's book on 7./SS-Pz Regt 1 LAH published by Schiffer, there is a good deal of research material available to research this man.

                    Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

                      Hi Michael,

Thanks for showing us this very nice set. Rudolf Nowak was, as you can see, a Funkmeister in the 7./SS Pz.Rgt.1 but later also a member 6./SS Pz.Rgt.1. At wars end he was an SS-Oscha. After the war he was a member of the 7. Kompanie Kameradschaft - which also included members of the 6./Kp. He passed away approx. 2003. Attached you will find two images I hope you will enjoy.

The above pic. shows Nowak near Charkow, March 1943, with comrades of the 7.Kp.
Below you see Gerd Stiller and next to him ( I believe to be) Rudi Nowak during a Kompanie Treffen.

It adds a whole new value to this set!

Polis last names are very common in Germany - since many decades. Nothing that would have caused trouble in the Thirs Rich.

No, it was not part of s.SS.Pz.Abt.103, however both units were part of the III.SS-Panzerkorps. Wishful thinking though

That's a really nice grouping you have there
