I am looking for someone to evaluate and appraise a collection of post cards (I would be happy to pay for the service). There are thousands of cards in the collection. Can anybody recommend a reputable post-card dealer or collector out there? Thanks in advance.

A number of thoughts come to mind, and Tom Capparetlli is high on that list! As has been suggested, his is a long-standing reputation in our hobby and I have dealt with him on a number of occasions, always amicably. Another thought is Geoff Walden, who is a member here. His website, "Third Reich in Ruins," is based upon a large selection of period post card subjects. Perhaps Geoff would be willing to undertake such a project himself, or could recommend someone? And of course there is Roger Bender, who has already published one of the mainstay reference works on Third Reich post card collecting; here again, if Roger is unavailable to do the work himself, he might have someone to recommend.
