    Stamper, Dienstelle Feldpostnummer 59445 A

Hello can any1 tell me about the value of this feldpost stamper? Is it real or fake? What the number 59445 A mean? Thanks for all helpfull answers!

I am not sure that it is original. The handle looks believeable, but the stamp itself appears to lack the detail I would expect to see. 59445 was used by Artillerie-Regiment 361 between January 1944 and January 1945.

I am with Chris on this one.

      A "new" combination perhaps ?

Repro stamper attached to an old handle ?

      Best regards

It has the correct construction but a hands on look would be needed to say for sure.

What detail would you expect to see Chris? Could you tell me?

I would expect the eagle to look more crisp, with smooth flat surfaces. On your stamp the lines look soft but on paper I see that it looks OK. Maybe the apparent lack of fine detail in the eagle is because of pitting/corrosion? I think it has a chance but am suspicious, I'm just not sure.

It wasnt cleaned from old dry ink, i used soft tissue to clean it, now look on the details. Better picture with cleaned stamper, also i can corrosion as u mentioned. I bought it from a young guy for the price lower than for fake ones.
