U-Boat Badge 1918 Document?

I have seen many Award Documents for the U-Boat Badge from 1939 can anyone post a picture of an Award Document for the 1918 Imperial German U-Boat Badge? Did one exist?

Hi Brent,

Hope it was of help. I dont think that there was any one specific design of these due to the late institution, most seem to have been typed.

This is the only one I have seen that has been printed and again I believe that this was just probably done locally as it is specific to the IV flott.

I missed one on Ebay that was a fill in printed one. Uboot badge and EK2 were entered on tit.

Hi Chris,

I saw that one, it went for about 300 Euro. It was printed as you say but it was not specifically for a U-boat badge. It seemed to be a general confirmation of awards document issued by the U-division (presumably some sort of post war U-boat association?) with the specific awards typed in. Dated March 1920. attached a photo. I was unable to get any better photos from the vender.
