I'm no expert but they look like they are held by the U.S. So I would venture a guess that they are German POW's. I say this because of the letters on the trouser legs. Hope this helps. Mike

Many thanks, I thought that aswell and was a bit confused as to why they were in my photo album, they look english to me and not german, but hey that's being closed minded i guess.

Dan, I don't have any in the albums I have but I think it is not uncommon to have pics taken while in captivity then added into the album after being released when the was was over. Nice album you have...

Thanks, theres 179 photos inside, i will try to take some nice scans of the more interesting photos, I was ten minutes late the man sold five others like this and this was the last one, two of them were all Afrika Korps that I missed

They are 100% German POW's in America...they are apparently in a hot climate area since they are wearing US Army issue tropical khaki. Bill Petz
