    It appears that the supply ship with open bows, has beached herself while Gebirgsjager troops wait for their equipment to be unloaded.

    Thats a training for "Operation Seelöwe" (invasion of england)

      Agreed, it's training for Seelöwe, which makes it likely these men are from the 6 Gebirgs Division
      Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

          Its from roughly august or september 1940
          Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
