When I got this book, which is a Doctorate Dissertation about the Armee Wenck from 1981, I just looked at the dedication casually and assumed that it was by Walther Wenck himself ... however, since looking more closely at it, surname looks indeed like Wenck, but the first name of the signature does not read Walther but some other name.
More importantly, Walther Wenck died in a car accident on 1st May 1982 and the dedication is dated June 1983!
I do not need a translation of the dedication. I know what it says there, but who made this dedication? Who's signature is that?
I would assume that it was either Wenck's son or wife or other close relative? Does anyone know their names? To me, the signature looks something like Helmuth Wenck?
