At first glance, it looks just fine - the inscription is also just right for the period.

Thanks for the thumbs up on this one - yes I could not see a single thing wrong with it, but of course always nice to get a second opinion (particularly from Max as I am aware of your expertise on TR autographs). I picked the book up in Berchtesgaden for a nice deal and the source was certainly genuine. I am still here for a few days and presently chasing another very interesting item, so will post if I can find it and it looks like it worth the time of day! Later (and if my kids give me a chance), I will post a few pics of how things are here at all the usual sights - particularly interesting photo from the Borman sight, but had to dig around a little. Thanks again and back to you all shortly. Regards Dave.

                  It is an original dedication.
Lina Murr is the wife of the Gauleiter of Wuerttemberg Wilhelm Murr.

If Max History gives it a thumbs-up, that's good enough for me.

                          Thanks.

                          Dave,
I'm sorry, I thought you were already aware who the dedication was for. Murr married Lina Halbritter on 15th January 1920. She was born 26th November 1893 in Göppingen. They had one son, Winfried, on 28th July 1922. Murr and his wife committed suicide on 14 May 1945.
                          Regards,
                          Max.

Thanks for info Max - yes I have been researching and of course as you know Winfried also shot himself before his trial for rape - best regards Dave.
