    Info on Dachau letter please

I've never had one of these. Interesting but I can't read it. Any light you can shed on this piece would be appreciated.

Andrew, you have there an original letter, sent by a young prisoner at KZ Dachau. The contents of these pieces tend not to vary much, as prisoners were unable to include sensitive details due to the control of their masters. Most examples will include content regarding their work, a little about their health (but not too much), and usual expressions of feelings towards those to whom they write. For research purposes, the prisoner's name and number can often be traced through various channels.

    Regards,

    Carl

Here the text of the postcard:

      " 1. Dezember 1940

      Geliebte Eltern !

Bestätige den Empfang des Briefes, der Karte, auch das Geld habe ich erhalten"

Beloved parents! Confirm the receipt of the letter, the card, also the money I received.

The address: Martin Kukula, Kalisch, Gnesenerstr. 23

Thank you both! I know this is not a singularly unique piece however I must admit I find it very significant and intriguing. Not sure if I understand the name, is it Martin Kukula Kalisch or Martin Kukula. Assuming Kalisch is his name from the link to wiki but the comma is not what we would do in English. Thank you again! Any help researching this man?

The name of the address (may be his parents) is Martin Kukula. They are living in a village

          named " Kalisch ".

The name of the sender is Bronislaus Kukula.

Interestingly, I have tried to research this photo, complete with bullet hole, that is said to have been taken from a KIA German soldier in southern France, and that was develloped by a photographer in Kalisch (now in Poland).
I sent a letter to the town, and though they couldnt help, they were quite interested, and said they would add it to their archive. Perhaps if you send a copy of this card to them, they could give some interesting info...
