Nice photos--they're from Marine SA Sturm 13 of Standarte 48, based at Magdeburg in group Mitte.

dear erich,
i hope i am replying in a manner which will get a message back to you; im not very adept at the messaging procedure.
in an earlier reply i added that the sa flag does have gold edging, and the nskk standarte patch is in dark brown. also, i mentioned an embroidered langemarck banner which puzzles me.
in my collection is also the square auto kommandoflagge for group nordsee, clips on each corner.
your help locating wurzburg has already led me to a google site - nationalsozialistssche einrichtungen in wurzburg - which has some nice info on standarte 9, which was established there in jan 1930. the sa there itself was est. on 5 jan 1923, reestablished after the ban in 1925. it even had a royal who was the local sa mother. wow.
