Framed portrait with Krim and strange shoudelboards

Just take for my collection this nice framed picture with Krim and strange shouderboards. What is the small slip on? As I know, in 1940 the 21 infanterie division adopts a system to distinguish its infantry regiments by slip on, coloured thread in combat uniform shoulder straps .... ... ... ... similar system is then used by 252 ID and within the IR 7 ..... but here we talk about one colour, while slip on in the picture that I just showed is two-tone ... What is it?

There is a discussion somewhere in this forum about similar braids, but I can't find it. A particular regiment or division wore these braids on their shoulder tabs. I think they were red-white-black. Several photos were posted. I will keep searching. Hopefully someone else recalls the previous discussion.

I have an Inf. Rgt. 154 photo album and had never noticed those braids on shoulder boards so I had a check. Here is a photo from the album.
