          Hi Gian,

I see your post just now.......and typing my reply at the same time springer did post his, well that is what I can see after posting this one.

Hard to say about originality from what is shown as an image, first one looks good to me - as the watermarking shows that a well known dealer who does know his material did have the card in his hands - so to say.

There are several version of that card.
With and without the spende 1940 on it.
With and without der Sieger von Dordrecht and Moerdijk on it.

No idea what the 35 price mark says ? US Dollar or Euro, but one can find that card in a good condition from 20 to 25 Euros and up.

A signed one by the man himself is also possible, and a card that did actually run (postage / mail used) too.

          Best regards

          Eric-Jan

            Hi Eric!
Can you explain me why the first posted is valued on M.B. Militaria Berlin only 25 Us.$, and the second was sold on Craig Auction for 310 Us.$.....????
You can seen it here!.... http://www.cgmauctions.com/detail.as...-Oberst-Brauer
            Thanks!
            My Best!
            Gian.

              Hi Gian,

While Militaria Berlin is selling that card for a decent price, it is clear to me that there were some people bidding on a card at Craig show who :

              - didn't know what such a card is worth.
              - did have too much money.
              - people who didn't do their homework / or any research at all.
              - didn't have any knowledge concerning Willrich material.
              - people who just want to say "see that I bought something from a high
end priced dealer" and did it now by auction.

Know that you are safe with that Militaria Berlin card, concerning price and orginality.

              Best regards

              Eric-Jan
