I thought I would dig this photo out of my collection to be one of my first posts here on the forum. I bought this from a German friend of mine when I was on vacation there..oh...probably 15 years ago now. It's signed by Rudel, of course, and dated 1955.
The photo itself is, obviously, a wartime shot of Rudel with fellow LW aviators and I've never been able to tell exactly whats going on in the photo. It looks to me like there is an emergency of some kind with a soldier on the ground? You can tell by Rudel's face and the actions of others that something is happening. I've never been able to identify the others in the photo, but perhaps someone here can and even perhaps might have this photo or have seen this before?
Anyway, enjoy! http://www.flickr.com/photos/8367454...7630784690854/
