    Kriegsmarine award ceremony photos

I am looking for a photo of a Kriegsmarine war badge award ceremony for possible use in an upcoming magazine edition of B and D publishing (Dietrich's publishing house) that concerns itself with the subject of KM war badges.

If anyone has such photos please post it here and we can discuss it by PM if it works out in the layout of the magazine.

    Thanks,

    John

Looks like he is getting an EK. I am searching for a war badge presentation if available. If not, yours is a possibility. It is the right height and width for a page so that helps.

      Thanks for posting it.

            John,

I will have a look for you.

I am sure that there are photos of Uboatcrewmembers receiving a EK.1, DKiG, Knight Cross.....in what I have here, but I am not sure if there are photos with men receiving a war badge.

            Best regards

            Eric-Jan

Thanks. Well, there are images of U-boat and Minesweeper sailors being awarded war badges, I just do not own them so there are copyright issues that might come into play--I leave that to Dietrich.

Love to see your photos though, why not post them? You need to be an association member to do so though or use an image hosting program.

                      How about this one?
This is the S-Boat badge award ceremony at the 1.S-Fltl base in Crimea.

                      Regards,
                      Haruki

There are some very nice images posted above.

The images i am posting here are not "originals" but they are from a period publication.

The title of the book is "Die Kriegsfarht des Hilfskreuzers Atlantis".

The book was compiled by the ship's Adjutant Ulrich Mohr and the first edition of 400 copies was printed in 1944 for Atlantis crewmen and their families.

This image taken in Berlin in early January 1942 shows the Atlantis Commander Bernhard Rogge handing out the HK awards to his crewmen.

The officer standing behind Rogge, with the handful of "brown cardboard boxes"that contain the awards is Ulrich Mohr.

I am not sure if you can use this image John but it is a nice one.

                              Regards,Martin.

PS.I have acouple of HK awards from Atlantis crewmen and they are Juncker's.
