    "Agfa Brovira" Paper

I just bought a photo album off estand and many of the photos through out seem to have been reproduced and then returned in the spot where the original would have been...

Please let me know your thoughts on "Agfa Brovira" paper... as this is what all the 'suspect' photos are printed on - I know they did print on this paper during WWII but these prints seem to be mated and are cleaner than the photos not of this paper.

    Thanks!

I do not see anything wrong as well..they look original to me. Making current day copies of common photos on original paper would not make any sense.

I'd expect going through an album that picutres taken on the same day for example would be on the same film roll would probably end up printed on the same paper.

Maybe the veteran who compiled the album had some prints made from his negatives all on agfa brovira paper then gave the originals to a colleague and kept the newer re-prints to put back in his album ?

I don's see anything suspect here. If it was an album with several very high value pictures and those were all printed on the same paper that might raise a concern but for a standard album it doesn't look like an issue to me.

Thanks guys - I guess the miss matching paper was causing some concern and that fact that it basically looked brand new compared to some of the glossy'er photos that looked like they had the proper age.

            Thanks again!
