Hello, I have just received four nice snapshots of Gebirgsjager Iron Cross award ceremony.
They are all taken in the same location in October 1941.
Please can anyone who can read or speak German help me read the location on the back of the photos.
I would love to know where these shots were taken so I can establish the unit.
The date is October 1941 and they are on the Russian front. What does the location read ? - then we can work out the division.
