      Akira... Here are more Paper Stuff found in the H.'s "Nachlass" including Period Documents from Wolchow, Pleskau, and so on.... where both Divisions he was incorporated (1st I.D., 21st.I.D.) were involved.         Another jaw-dropper Lionel! As always, thank you for sharing these amazing groupings with us.

        I know they dont compare with the other items to some, but there Seems to be some incredible photos in those albums as well. It looks like he was very organized. Hand drawn maps/etc......just great stuff. Thanks again

          Jason, you must be right. H. was severely wounded on Sep.12th 1941 by inf. Bullet through the softisch, at the time he served by.14.(Pz.Jäg.)I.R.1. He went to Lazarett, "Ersatz Rgt" until Okt.11th 1942, then visit an Infantry Officer school and went back to the front in February 1943. <p><img src="http://cdn01.trixum.de/upload2/c/D/cD2PkM4VZCT5134124952694P1683.jpg"></p>

                        Lionel, I love those papers... of course photos, too. I'm always here if you consider parting with the set, but as long as its kept by you I feel "safe"... And how I wish I could listen to what Herr Helmich had to say about his days in the swamps!
