    My recent acquisition included many aerial photographs and maps; one of the portfolio is from 3./Aufkl.Gr.Ob.d.L.

          Great photos! I love aerial shots, particularly obliques. I've always wanted to see an aerial view of the fortress on the eastern bank of the Volkhov at Novgorod. I believe Spanish troops held it at some point during 1941-42.

                  Glad to see that more russian membership is flowing in; welcome!

                  Yes, perhaps you're right - early spring 1943. The ground texture appears very similar; the same day possibly. If not maybe 1-2 day difference!

                      Length of the shadow indicates the difference in a few minutes. ~ 20.
