    KVK 2 award document

Hi to all! This is my first post here.

I bought this KWK award document together with a Wound badge award document and two documents from the 60s and 70s of the VDK, all related to same guy Fritz Zenke. It's really cheap and common stuff indeed and the dealer is trustworthy, so I don't think any of these documents could be fake.
About the KWK document: I made some researches on the web about the unit to which the obergefreiten belonged: Sturmg. Abtl. 1553 and I found out that this unit was formed in the second half of 1944 and attached to the 553 Grenadier Div., later renamed 553 VG Div. So why is this document dated 28 april 1944?
Moreover, the ink stamp bears the words (as far as I can read): Dienststelle feldpostnummer L 61712. Isn't that a LW FPnr?

Thank you in advance for any tip about this enquiry.

    Alessandro

This is the type of award given out by the Wehrkreis, normally if the guy was wounded or at home etc.

To have the FP Nr or a Luftwaffe unit should start your suspicions straight away.

It actually belonged to Landesschützen-Zug der Luftwaffe 384/VI.

Initially what drew my attention was the signature....I do not like the way it is written, so based on what I see I do not like it.

    Regards,

      Hi
I'm sorry to have to tell you but the document is a fake, you've pretty much answered your own question, date, stamp, signature and the doc style itself all give it away

Let us know how the return experience with the "trustworthy" dealer goes. You might want to post the other documents too....to make sure they're good.

Here we go with the wound badge award document of the same guy, who supposedly was in 1943 a reiter in Radf. Abt. 157, part of 57th ID. Document is dated march 1943 and it was apparently signed by an army doctor in Wien. Ink stamp bears the wording 'Reserve Lazarett XX -unreadable- Wien'.
At first sight, this document looks better than the previous one and it won't raise any suspect. I can't tell anything about the signature.
Well, if the first one I showed was a fake, what could I think about this one?

Thanks to all for the useful information

The wound badge document makes a better impression, even though the pic is a bit small.
