    An Estonian Volunteer?

I got this from my friend Taavi in Estonia, and he thought it was German, but that is no German cockade. Also, the German's wore the trapezoid on their M43 caps.
Is this soldier an Estonian Volunteer?

I would bet this is an german cockade, but the green base is a little more light than the eagle one, and the red point in the center is very light too. Who said that all the M43 caps wore the trapezoid insignia??? I never heard or saw anything about specific cockade for strangers volunteers.
    Best regards from Spain

        Hi,

I am sure this is an Estonian volunteer. It is the Estonian national colours (blue-black-white) added to the German cockade. It`s usual the Estonians used their own colours and also their own pre WW II cockades to accent on being Estonian.
