            Thanks for posting some more nice POW pics!!!

            Here is one from Mike Pruett. Two recently captured LW soldiers being rushed off to an unknown fate by FFI in the fight to Liberate Paris 1944.

              Location

              W. Petz,
              The location of your photo is the same as my POW RKT photo post.
              It is Mulsanne / Le Mans in France. Even some of the persons in the photo are the same e.g. the KM Officer.

                Great pics thanks for posting.

                I can't help but wonder as to what happened to all the tunics,headgear,awards,kit,etc that these prisoners are wearing.

                The uniforms and caps were probably destroyed due to lice etc which was probably rampant in those POW camps, I doubt you would be taking a shower on a daily basis. As far as the Russian POW's they were probably buried in them.

                              The first pic you posted, the guy holding the white flag to the left looks to me like he is wearing a Anti Partisan Badge
