The sandals a couple of the guys are wearing in pic #934 are interesting. They look like they're homemade.....

Alot of items were made by the POW's during their time in the Camps and those Sandals were most likely one of them.

If you are wondering about the details, here's the inscription to the reverse and translations will be greatfully accepted.

"Das ist unser Lager in Rimini, da kannst Du Dir vorstellen, wieviel Gefangene hier sind."

"That is our camp in Rimini, you can imagine how much prisoners are here."
