Can enyone identify this RK ?

To me it looks like one of those photos where somebody has been awarded an RK but haven't received it yet, so he poses with an EKI or II at the throat as a stand in...
or are these people just playing around? opinions and suggestions are welcome

Could be!

It's hard to tell since both men have very even,"harmonic" features, but it could very likely be Dobberstein. I imagine the people with him are his wife and closest friends or family, given the relaxed mood of everybody . Thanks for the suggestion!

Very likely! I still think he's using a EKI as a "pretender" for the awarded, but not yet received RK, which would also explain why he doesn't wear his EKI on his jacket

This is not strange. Someone adorns RK without EK 1. You can find it in many photos.
