Strange WMC I with X citation

Several years ago I bought from an Spanish Dealer a lot of documents and I.D. books, all comes O.K. except this citation for the WMC, as I bought all as a group and came several interesting pieces to me I decided to keep the whole group and this paper was storage in the rare, doubtfull or unknow box, after seeing the thread regarding photos from WMC 1 class wearers I remembered and decided to put it here so you can say me something about it or confirm my doubts. It comes in a big size, the paper not glow and is the same as I have encounter in other Third Reich citation, thick paper and appears old hand done, rough in his finish as old documents and books. What make me wonder are: why Hitler awarded such low medal to an Unteroffizier? Has anyone see a stamp like the one in this document? I know is not a Hitler handone signature, but I have seen common ones signed by Keitel and other high ranking officers to soldiers and some signed by Hitler and other Party chefs, but to civilians. Any suggestion about this matter?

    Cheers

Angel: I would have to say that this is probably an original BLANK document, with the details typed in by someone attempting a fraud. You're right, these "Führerkanzlei" documents (actually, less interesting in my opinion than the usual sort, since the ACTUAL issuing authority is not specified) are "always" (that I've ever seen) to civil/Party types. That "Stuka" stamp is just ridiculous! Rick

Rick you make me sure about my initial feeling, these document comes with other Heer groups and a couple of Wehrpass in a take all or leave all offer, as the money requested was less than the cost of the other items I take the whole lot and simply put this piece in the unknown box as I don't know too much about LW units, I suspect if was a fake as the rectangular stamp was something never seen in other documents and also make me strange Hitler taking time to award such anonimous soldier a non much valued award. Sorry to hear that some stupid ruined a nice blank citation to make this.

      Thanks
