it seems to be a bit difficult with the name of this Major.

The name "Krizl" you will not find in the recent German phonebook and also not in the Volksbund list.

The same with the name "Krigl" (I also read the name "Krigl"), no hint.

But there is a name "Kriegl" you find in the German phone book entries.
