    Looks like an air compressor to me.

      Agreed, you can see the bits for jackhammers in the bottom left corner.
      Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

        The only air compressor "Anhänger" I could find in 1940 D600 is attached. Very similar, but not an exact match it appears to me.

          I'm NOT saying that it is not an air compressor, it looks it is. Just I need more knowledgable member's opinion.
