Small Tank without Turred - What is it?

i have take a look in the war Photos from my uncle. So he wasnt at home.

Can you say what was this for an tank?

Yes, it's a Pz. I without the superstructure or turret and, as mentioned, it was used to train tank drivers.

Panzer I Schulfahrzeuge

Used for training tank drivers. Based on the Panzerkampfwagen I which was one of the first tank design used by the Wehrmacht. It was made to combat enemy infantry and only carried two machine guns. The "real" tanks like the Tiger and Panther came later :-)

The German for it was "Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf B ohne aufbau" because the superstrcture and turret had been removed.
