    Adolf Hitler Textile Card

    Gentlemen,

Does anyone of you know what this card was used for?

It´s made of textile with a paper frame and some of the textile is sewn into the frame.
    Measurements: 3,5 * 5,5 inches

Sorry for the pictures being a bit blurry but i had some problems with the autofocus on the camera..

    Thanks

    /Andreas

          All opinions are welcome

I can´t really figure out what this was made for? Maybe just a souvenir card?

I didn't know Hitler's first name was really Gary!

Just joking, sure looks like Gary though.

I think it is a cross stitch card. You color it in with a needle and colored thread.

                Here's a cross stitch site.

Interesting thoughts..hmm..i think i will stick with Dave, it is probably some kind of souvenir card. I really don´t know about the stitching, it feels too tight for that. But then..it´s not impossible.

Let´s wait and see if someone else have another opinion or fact.

Some kind of souvenir item which could have been worked into a postcard or used as a bookmark or whatever you fancied doing with it ... Cheers, Torsten.
