NEED HELP! Document presented to KC holder

Hey all, I have an opportunity to purchase this document. Presented to Gefr. Wrangel on 24 Mar 1943, shortly after award of his KC. Hand drawn - waiting on the actual size from holder. Found in a box in Germany that the current holder is looking to rent. Also found a 2nd Model Luft Dagger (appropriate forum), and there might be more.
BUT - need opinions now on worth, and originality, as far as can be determined from this photo. At this point I don't have any documentary evidence (like pix of it in his house, or him receiving it) but seller seems honest. It seems to have been drawn by somebody named "Schutt", but working on finding out more about that.
I also have the same photo about double size, if that would be help to anyone.
    thanks very much in advance,

    the Hankmeister

    Hankmeister,

The quaint greeting-card rhyme style seems very convincing, but for something like this I would look for some very good corroborative information, such as where this thing came from (i.e. whose hands has it passed through in the last 61 years, if it is that old) and as many personal details about Wrangel as possible.

Otherwise, it is just a good story, which is usually pretty cheap. I wouldn't spend anything more than beer money on this.

    ttfn,

    /David

Thanks DAvid - the lack of documentary evidence, or exactly who "Schutt" (the artist name at bottom, covered by frame here) is, is one of my stumbling blocks. I'm not sure where Wrangel lived, or where the seller is, other than here in Germany. It looks good, but no telling (at this point) whether or not Wrangel ever even saw it.

The person who has this now is reluctant to push the owner of the house where it was found for too much details - lest he become suspicious and want it back; the house owner was going to throw away the Luft Dagger I posted in the dagger forum!

Any more comments from the membership here?

      thanks
      Hank

        More in the works...

More items have turned up - might be on to something here. Whether it pans out or not, I'll keep posted.

        more to come, hopefully
