German band photos

...the only annoying thing about these photo's is that the majority of them are either 'passport' sized portraits, or an average of 9cm x 6cm....

...it's no problem to enlarge them, but still...it would be nicer to find larger photo's...

...here's a 'passport' sized portrait of a SA 'musiker'....


PS....it could be that I like SA photos!

...a not-often seen photo of a mounted SA Reitersturm 'musikkorps'...

...original photo is an insanely small passport sized photo...a real shame...the loss of detail in these small photo's is heartbreaking...but you get the idea with the enlarged image...

...an enlarged example of a real 'blink-and-you'll miss it' small photo..

..a group of SA musiker having a rest....wonder if they're on the way back from a 'treffen' somewhere???

...an interesting family portrait....proud father in his 'Stahlhelmbund musiker' uniform, flanked by his 'SA musiker' son...with younger sibling dressed in what looks like a 'Deutsche Jugend' uniform, or some such organisation...

..the young man in the SA uniform intrigues me...he appears to be wearing on his sleeve what looks like the Motor SA / NSKK style of 'raute' wheeled-emblem...but his 'kragenspiegel' doesn't feature the letter 'M', which would have tied as a member of the Motor SA or NSKK...so maybe the sleeve diamond has some other meaning?

Not German band..... but looks like wehrmacht band (Chilean Army 2005 parade)

are those original German WWII helmets? I think in my country we got a lot of them too.

Unique Band

I always thought this was pretty unusual photo for a WWII German band. I'm assuming it was taken somewhere in France, given the fact that the band members are all black.
