    Mtsensk- T34 destruction

    Hey guys,

Im trying to research these photos I have collected. On the reverse of one...it says it is in the area of Mtsensk on 11-11-1941. (about 40 miles from Orel and 65 miles to Tula)
To my knowledge this is the destructiuon left from the advance on Tula.

I have collected 3 photos of the destruction, and think that there are probably more out there, as this would have been a hotspot for soldiers to take some photos.

If anyone has any info or other photos.....please share!

Photo #1: Stalin Organ and T34 zerstört

T34 w/ KIA Russian tanker in front of it.

I believe this was located just a few hundred feet down the road from the KO'd Katyusha

The first photo is also showing a "Stalinorgel" - Stalin organ.

The names which are listed on the bottom are: Bickert, Jousen, Kunze, Detro.

            Thanks alot Jason + Gerdan!

Anybody else happen to have some photos from the battles in or around Mtsensk from October to Dec of 41?

The KO'd T34's/etc could be the work of 4th Pz Div/Pz. Regiment 35, as that one pic is dated November 11th, while the final skirmishes in Mzensk ended somewhere around the end of October to my knowledge.

                Hi Gerdan,
don`t you think it's Lückert and Jansen?

                  Hi Trebes,

"Bickert" could also be "Lückert". In the Volksbund list you find 47 entries "Lückert" and 68

entries "Bickert". So I decided to read "Lückert". I thought it would be a higher probability.

With "Jousen" I change to your opinion: Jansen!

Thank you both for your expertise.

I, surprised nobody else has any pics from Mtsensk
