    Protektorat Ink Stamp

Nice example of one of the various forms of ink stamp that was used during the Nazi occupation of Bohemia and Moravia. The piece has a large form head with German and Czech wording, relating to court proceedings at Bojkowitz, a small town near the Slovakian border. During the war, the main factory at Bojkowitz was used to assist the German war effort. The town, called Bojkovice in Czech, also boasts a beautiful Neo-Gothic style castle that was built in the 1480's, to help defend the region against the marauding Hungarians.

    Regards,

    Carl

Do you have a stamp pad to stamp us one to read.? Nice stamp. You should start a stamp thread for original stamps. I have one somewhere if you do.

Thank you Juoneen, and yes I do have a pad. I'll get some ink and post a shot of the inscription, as well as start an original ink stamp thread too.

        Regards,

        Carl
