German Cross in Gold - Gebirgsjäger Portrait....

    Hello,

    what do you think,
    is this portrait a perido-one!?
    The surface is "glossy"...

    Stampf: Rud.Lein - PIRNA
    Date 29.1.1944

    Best regards,
    Köti

    Servus Köti,

Nice wedding portrait...the Hauptmann seems to be a Gebirgspionier IMHO.

    Horrido!

I have to take a look in my books,
the face of the Gebirgsjäger looks so familiar to me...

      Maybe a later KC-holder!?

      Best regards,
      Koenigstiger

Assuming he's either from the artillerie or pionier, these are the candidates i can come up with. Given the dark colour of the waffenfarbe i'm not including Gebirgspanzerjäger or Aufkl.
