    Very nice and rare photos!

I knew a 177 Pilot (Bodo Lehwald) who trained on the 177 to bomb production plants behind the Urals he said. The plan was scrapped due to fuel shortages.

The knight cross holder is Bernhard Jope

If I remember correctly. Jope and his crew sunk the Italian Battleship Roma with a Fritz X guided missle....

                              He 177.

It looks like the A-5 version, and I have a feeling that they might be from Aalborg/DK. Is it possible to see the last letter of the Vkz?
