        Aside from obvious costs, seems to be a mindset a copy or postwar is worthless as not "original." I disagree

          I disagree too.

          In many or most cases it's worth *less*, but not worthless, particularly if you're looking for the information that the image tells us, and we're reasonably sure the picture is not posed by reenactors or historical revisionists, and if it's a document it's not forged.

          [i.e. the concepts and foundation embodied in the U.S. Constitution are more important than the original paper and ink; the same goes for historical images]
