    Wehrmacht Rolls Royce?

Does anybody recognise the make and model of car in this photo? It is right-hand drive and the radiator grille and badge look very like those of vintage Rolls Royce.

          Hi Kerry:

I am reasonably sure your vehicle is a Fiat Ardita.
For the moment I cannot post photos due to a subscription issue but you can google it.

            Bill,
I don't think so - notice the suicide door on the mystery car, as well as the rear-most window being more rounded. Maybe a different model Fiat?

However, you're way closer than I ever coulda been.

              Hi Hank:

Here is my example photo, finally got my sub renewed.

Note that the Ardita, like all up scale Fiats were bodied by different companies over time. My photo also has a different door opening and a little bit different rear window. As I have time, I will try to find an identical photo of the mystery car.

Thank you all for the suggestions. It is still a mystery, but maybe less of one! The top of the radiator surround is flat, however, unlike the pictured Fiat, but could easily be another model. Did Italy used right-hand drive vehicles? I have loads of car and truck pictures, but little knowledge of manufacturers and models, so your help is most welcome gents, and any more updates would be gratefully received..
                Regards,
                Kerry.

                  Hi Kerry/Hank:

I am not an expert on Italian civilian cars but do have some decent references.
I am pretty darned sure this vehicle is Italian.

Italians drove on the right but most large trucks and up scale passenger cars had the steering on the right. Something to do with driving in the Alps on narrow roads I have read.

It also has a bit of the look of a Lancia Ardita but I have not found a good match yet.

I have to go now sit with my brother for the next six hours in hospital where he is having a biopsy procedure done but when I get back I will break into my bookcase stuff and look some more.

That is definitely NOT a Rolls Royce. The fooler here seems to be the hood ornament which looks a lot like the one RR used.

I don't even thing there is a hood ornament, it's the rocks\grass behind that give that impression.
