I have come across an envelope of maps and books, in total containing 6 maps and two softback books. The cover of the folder reads..."Militargeographischer Uberblick uber Belgien und angrenzende Gebiete" It is dated 20th, Oct. 1939. It also has a label..."Generalstab des Heeres Abteilung fur Kriegskarten und Vermessungswesen, Berlin 1939."
This set is pretty interesting. All of the maps are topography and geography related. They range from small to large scale in size.
The first book is 48 pages of photos and descriptions of dams and infrastructure throughout Belgium.
The second book is 107 pages and includes detailed maps and keys of many cities in Belgium.
I have never seen anything like this before. Can anyone send me in the direction of an expert that could give me more info and an idea of it's value?
