camo helmets, etc ... in pictures

Hello,


Thanks towards a member who pointed me in the direction of a very nice photoalbum that was recently offered on ebay i can present this one .

The picture shows 2 LW soldiers (belonging towards a glider unit = LLG 2) during a rest in Southern France medio 1943.

Off interest are the 2 helmets IMHO.

* one is the normal LW colour blue issue
* the second one seems painted (aka camouflaged) !!!!

Show us more when possible

Great photo, Stijn. For whatever reason, the Luftwaffe seemed to really favor camo helmets. This is one of my favorite photos. Look at all the different patterns in it. I believe that a forum member provided me with a copy of this photo. A mixture of Luft and Heer uniform articles makes me think that this may be a Luftwaffe field division.
