E6145a/ The West Wall ring. A symbol of camaraderie.
A Pforzheim jeweler and goldsmith, who employed to work on the West Wall in October 1938, created a ring from a piece of wire in his free time for the men of the West Wall. The same goldsmith made the rings for a few weeks for the soldiers and West Wall workers. The goldsmith has set up a workshop at the West Wall to cast a ring for those who do not yet possess the ring. The plain ice ring is a symbol for the men of West Wall and is a valuable memory of the time spent on the West Wall.
