Kampfgruppe Scwerin award document.

Hello, I could use some assistance here, with this award document and Erkunnungsmarke. I picked this up in the summer, but have never had time to post it up or try to research it, until now. The stamp seems correct to the unit.
But who's signature is it. Also, the date seems to put the time around Aachen. I have seen late war documents to this award before. The dog tag came with the document. Any help and opinions are more than welcome.

Does anyone know for sure what K. Gef. Std stands for. I am hazarding a guess its Kampfgruppe Gefechtsstand (Army battlegroup command post)??
