    German art book

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I will give it a shot. About a year ago, I picked up a German art book from a flea market for $15. I haven't researched it until today. I think it is a book for an art exhibition, but I don't speak German, and don't know a lot about it. Hopefully someone will be able to tell me more about it, and let me know that value. $15 seemed reasonable, but I'm not sure if I overpaid or not.

This is the paperback edition of the official guide book for the 1941 German Art Exhibition in Munich. This was an annual affair, with new works of German Art being selected for exhibit by a small jury, usually including Heinrich Hoffmann and Gerdi Troost.
Hardbound editions exist, but these are hard to find.

The $15 you paid is a reasonable price for the paperback edition, in my opinion.

Yes 15 usd is a good price.

Guides were published every year from 1937 - 1944.

Thanks everyone. I guess I did well with my purchase. It is a very interesting book, with a lot of great pictures of paintings and sculptures. I didn't know it was a book from that large of an event!
