    Unusual EK2 Certificate

The reason i say unusual is that it is not made of paper-This may be common but its the only one I have seen.
It is made of some sort of fabric. I wonder if anyone else has one like this?
Also, can anyone tell me who signed this
    kind regards

    Hi Andy,
    the signature reads „Winkelmann“.
I can find just one engineer officer named Winkelmann in an Army Gazette from 1905: Oberleutnant Winkelmann, Magdeburgisches Pionier-Bataillon Nr. 4.
But no first name to identify him.

Does it happen to feel like a light canvas material? If so, I've had various types of documents made from this.

Winkelmann turned out to be promoted just to Captain at the end of the war. So he is not the guy who signed the document.

              Andy,
Have you posted in the Imperial forum? Since this is Imperial, the guys there may have some info.

              best

I have seen several of these, but have never owned one.( i think they are perhaps custom made, private purchases) Chris Boonzaier would be a good one to show this to,as EK and Ek related items are his specialty.
