DKiG Formal - Haven't seen this one before

I am very fortunate to be in contact with the family of one of the KC groups that I own. The son originally split the group years ago, selling the medals first to one dealer, then a few years later selling the documents to another a dealer. I bought the documents from this second dealer and as there was "nothing left to buy" he put me in touch with the family.

After a few years of correspondence, as well as twice meeting the son on trips to Germany, I learned that there was indeed more...The son had held onto a few a choice photos, letters, and his father's Formal DKiG Urkunde. Fast forward three years, and I am now the proud owner of the DK Urkunde.

Much to my surprise when it arrived, something seemed a little off. At first I couldn't put a finger on it, but then it hit me...the DK emblem at the top of the document is off-centered! Typically, it lines up slightly to the left of the "E" in "DES".

Just curious, have others seen similar off-centered examples?

Good time of the day John,
very interesting transitional DKiG BU, thank you for showing it!
My opinion the document is original and in very good condition, congratulations!
Actually the DK emblem is always some ,,floating” from the right side of ,,D” till the right side of ,,E”.
In your case the typographer was some more drunk as usual.

Agreed, definitely no concerns about originality. It was just strange for me to find the DK emblem off-centered. I have owned several of the Formal Urkunden in the past and never encountered this before.

Does anyone else have similar examples to share?

      Best,
      John

All examples are only from 1942:

The same situation in 1941. 1943, 1944, 1945. Do you see the ,,floating"?

Funny Stuff...I guess I never noticed before.

I just checked out three that I used to own and strangely these do not 'float'. All three have the bottom point of the DK to the left for "E" in "DES". BTW, I used to own your #2 example (see below). That one was to Richard Schwamberger.
