Does anybody know wich ship this is?
It has number 13

Z13 "Erich Koellner". Heavily damaged and subsequently scuttled at Narvik. 13th April 1940.

Oops, Simon beat me to it, Don't have access to my books at the moment but if the numbers shown on the boat do refer to the Z reference the it is the Erich Koellner

Quite common photo - maybe not that one, but you can find several different photos of the ship. If you find one who are specially interested in German Destroyers, you might get a good price. Destroyers are not that popular among collectors as battleships etc.

No - the price is quite ok. If you like the photo there is no probleme. You can't value that. Or let me use some other words. I have used 10 times on a photo, that maybe only one or two others would find interesting.

But as discussed in another tread, prices are going up.

What you can do with the photo is to scann it in high res. 2400 dpi. Then you can discover other features in the photo. Things you can't see just by looking at the photo itself.

Hi Gilles'

Just back home, i was not sure that the numbers on the sides of the ship corresponded with their designation Z number. They do not.

I checked through the books I have and found the boat shown with the 13 on the side is actually the Georg Thiele Z 20.

Sorry to be a bit slow but we try to get there in the end
