I agree. What officer school did he attend. I was thinking he attended Braunschweig. However, in the picture the soldier appears to have a Bad Tolz collar tab. Am I incorrect ?

Tychsen was in SS-Sturmbann (Battalion) "N," which was kept in Nuremberg for use during ceremonial occasions. They wore a Gothic N on their collar tabs.
