HJ proof sign by Karl Diebitsch

Hi I just want to show a rare proof stamp that was submitted for postal approval by the Deutsche Reich Post on June 6, 1935. This wonderful proof shows an embossed Reichs seal and has been signed by SS design artist professor Karl Diebitsch. The reverse not shown has the archival stempel and date. The original HJ World Jamboree stamps were sold at the post office in July 25, 1935.

That's a beauty. I love collecting the Vorlage sheets from The Reichdruckerei. Proofs, essays, color trials and the like are true specialist items that elevate a collection above the also rans.

Sadly, this type of material isn't truly appreciated beyond a few of us cranks.
